Before the bodies of those precious souls were cold, gun control freaks were screaming. Before loved ones knew they had lost a dear ones, gun control freaks were in the streets. You hear all this crap about an inanimate object, not enough about evil, sick, twisted, demented people.

Interesting. I would've thought the survivors and families of the victims would be the ones considered politicizing this tragedy as the media televises their rallies and shares their social media posts. After all, they are focused on the bigger issue of 17 lives taken by another human being whom had legal access to firearms.
NRA: It's not the gun, it's the mental health of the guy.
Survivor: Not only is it the mental health of the guy but the fact our laws let him legally buy guns.
Liberal: We need gun control.
Conservative: We have right to own guns so give the teachers guns.
Florida gun dealer: There's a 3-day waiting period for a hand gun but I can let you walkout with a semi-automatic rifle today.
Yeah media is using tragedy to either push gun control or push gun rights depending on the outlet.

MAJ (Join to see) - "The Sheriff has him on domestic violence several times, which by law prohibits you from having or purchasing a firearm..."? So tell me again how this is the fault of the FBI when supposedly he should've been charged with a felony by local law enforcement, added to NICS, and confirmed he no longer had access to firearms?
Yeah I've seen the statements by students, teachers, and others about the reported threats of violence by him that somehow never led to actual charges by local law enforcement well before the first tip to FBI about a posted comment on YouTube.

It's the fault of the FBI because they didn't even forward the reports they had to the local FBI office, The sheriff's office is even more at fault. Even the shooter's own family had requested his weapons be seized and the sheriff's office took no action. Both the FBI and Sheriff's office could have prevented this tragedy and both failed.

MAJ (Join to see) - You don't know what the FBI did. You're only speculating that the YouTube post was the only tip about potential threat that the FBI in that region was dealing with. You're also ignoring the fact that the law doesn't arbitrarily allows the law enforcement to take away someone's legally possessed firearm just because the family asks them to do so. Something about the 2nd amendment and due process prevents this. The police can't even legally confiscate the legal firearms of a person that a family member reports as being suicidal. Perhaps the family should've took his guns away; so guess you can add the family to list of who failed.

I know what they didn't do, because they said they didn't forward it.... I'm not speculating because the FBI headquarters said they didn't even forward it to the local field office, so your statement about them being busy in the region is without merit.
I am a stalwart defender in not allowing the government to deny anyone their 4th and 5th amendment rights, I also believe that due process of law should remove someone's firearms when they per example beat their mother so she calls the local sherrif's office, (already an existing gun law which failed to prevent Cruz from purchasing firearms) or say when you post about how you are going to shoot up a school, that isn't arbitrary at all especially when there is so much corroborating evidence to demonstrate this guy was a threat. The family called the sherrif to report his abuse and requested to take his guns away but the sheriff's office under a policy to reduce crime failed to act over 40 times.
Feel free to defend this morally corrupt and irresponsible moron.
