Nice share. Oshkosh is a good company no doubt- they make quality trucks. Concur with SSG (Join to see) & @CW3 storm I don't understand why contractors insist on making inward facing seats either. If anything, make them reconfigurable- so you can focus troopers attention outwards when the mission calls for it.

Chief I have been asking that same questions for years. But the only reason why I can think that is that it is suppose to haul cargo mainly. Troop transport was a second on the list. as far as the tailgate ladder is bs in my opinion. I dont like that you have to wait on the driver or TC to get the ladder out and drop the tailgate to get troops off properly. This is probally why I have a lot of lower body issues just jumping off the bed of the trucks, because a lot of the times the driver or TC didn't think about us and they just wanted to get where they needed to go and disapper.

The seat rack pops out on an Unimog in seconds, and then goes down in place against the back wall. The US is still thinking like it is 1940's sometimes.
