My son had a similar situation, the director made the cast meet at his house at Burbank and they did a dress rehearsal for a film about Charles Manson as a kid, long story short there was a scene where the Charlie (Manson) went to a friends house and the friend showed Charlie a handgun (S&W 38) and they wanted to practice the scene. I made sure I was the only one that handled the 38 and made sure it was unloaded, the scene had my son open a "locked" box and had the firearm to Charlie so I told the director I didn't think they should do that scene outside. Anyway I saw a unit coming around the corner ever so slowly, then I saw another unit and 4 more... I told them to place the firearm on the ground and raise their hands I call the dispatcher and told them it was for a film and they checked the script and said don't have the firearm outside of the house and left. That turned out much better than this one.... Hollywood or Burbank actually

They should have let the LEO's know a head of time what was going to be done.
