Jim- The media is the political establishment and the political establishment is the media. Today they are one in the same. They don't report the news they make the news in order to cause an effect with regards to their ideology.

Bullshit. I am sure that CNN and NBC and all them forced Trump to bash Sessions and throw Haley under the buss and come up with childish names for him to call people. It's ALL the media's fault. Trump's spotty behavior is the cause of Trump's problems, the media is just reporting it.

Cpl Tom Surdi - I call bullshit on your bullshit. The media has been recklessly going after Trump and his team and appointees for roles since day one. This latest is a case study in character assassination with zero sourcing. You have some politicians willing to spread things they "heard" but have no proof of then the media picks it up as a story because a democrat congressmen from eastbumfuck, Iowa said it on a talking head show. Never mind there was no source, no evidence and the Admiral denied it. The media ran with it as though it were true and verified knowing the entire time they were using unverified, unsourced information.

The good admiral was the physician to 3 presidents and has passed more background checks than you or I could shake a stick at and somehow they all missed these allegations? I doubt it. Perhaps they heard them and looked into them and founds them without merit or no one ever raised them because the FBI and others might have actually tried to verify them and exposed the people passing the stories around.

Cpl Jeff N. - I am not denying that the Admiral got screwed, but the blame for that can be placed squarely on the GOP and Democrat politicians that leveled the accusation at him. All the media did was report it, which is their damn job. And since you are choosing to ignore the rest of what I said to further your own point, I will say it again. The media didn't make Trump throw Haley under the bus, they didn't make Trump lash out on twitter to everyone who is ever critical of him, the media didn't make Trump lash out at Sessions and others in his administration. Very few want to work in the Trump administration simply for the fact they don't want to be verbally accosted by a man and used as a meat shield at his earliest convenience. Blaming the media for all of Trump's woes is bullshit, the best analogy I can come up with is you guys are like parents that blame the teacher for a student's bad grades. You know, maybe if Trump supporters demanded more from Trump, he might actually change his damn behavior and not have so many problems.

MSM will attack Trump at every turn, no surprise. Meanwhile, Trump is doing exactly what I hoped he would do when I voted for him. I knew going in he would be like a bull in a China shop and he hasn't disappointed. What has been happening to our government over the past several decades has been criminal. Our country is being run by elites who have controlled Washinton for years and Trump is not on their team. It's glorious. The louder they get the more I cheer.

This is an opinion piece, who cares? Let the press complain about his tiny hands and how many scoops of ice cream he eats. The liberal press vilifies Trump because that's what their audience wants to hear and it's all they can do while Trump is rewriting history. Trump, six and a half more years - MAGA!

The media in thios case is simply reporting facts, the are not responsible for the nut bag running the show. Can you cite a fact that they got wrong?

Just seems a bit slanted. Seems like he was elected, and we should back him...just as I did for Carter to Obama. I have two retirement letters, one from Clinton and one from Obama. I might have liked a more aggressive leaders, but I worked my butt off for the leaders we had. They were my President.

I will back him when I think he is doing the right tone just as I have with every POTUS. I have no obligation nor willingness to back him when he is doing things I see as wrong. And he does little that I can back him on. Self-centwred crazies are not my cup of tea.
Are you sure what you see as bias is not somply you disagreement ? Do you really think that Trump has treated his appointees in a rational.manner?
