For Marines, the Break from PFTs and Tape Tests Is Over

Female Marine Pull-up Standards/Age
Age Group Minimum Maximum
17-20 1 7
21-25 3 11
26-30 4 12
31-35 3 11
36-40 3 10
41-45 2 8
46-50 2 6
51+ 2 4
The most one has to do is age group 26-30 12 pull-ups for 100pts. This is just one part of the PFT.
For me, the Marine Corp was special operation capable. Meaning, we could land and set up a secure fortified position and we passed the minimum PFT for getting a shot into Special Operations. That use to mean Force Recon.
How is the new improved Marine Corp special operation capable if the PFT has such low standards? Let's not mention hair standards right now. Which appears to be a double standard. Just like this limp dick PFT push up section.
Come on! You can do it! Just get one, or four! WTF?
