Wow. This is extremely sad to hear for all the students attending ITT. We've seen it coming with the losses Devry and University of Phoenix have been suffering. All the hard work and struggles the students have been going through to achieve a degree and they are out tuition and credits. I hope a university steps up and creates a transition program to minimize the impact to the students.

That's astonishing. Those student who put money, time and effort in that school to get a degree are now left stranded, unless another school can take them and honor what credits they have. From my own experience when switching colleges, some credits didn't transfer. While I already had a specific class a School A University, I had to retake it at School B University because they wouldn't transfer.

PO1 (Join to see) - Here is the catch to that, it will require Congress, and Law makers to do that but hey too are all about the money making.

PO1 (Join to see) - In Texas when Trump University was accused by students, the Attorney General (Abott) simply told them to pay a fine and leave, screwed over the students.

PO1 (Join to see) Yrs is a very valuable and sad 'lesson learned' to many college students, and one which not many folks stop to consider or even know about to consider. One of our adult daughters found this out when she tried to transfer her credits from a reputable 2 yr college to UT. She ended up having to take several of the same courses over again before she could move forward on her degree. Just a horrible bust for students. On top of that here we have the loss or potential loss of tuitions and added loan debt. Just a horrible scam where everyone suffers.

This is so sad. Few traditional colleges teach practical computer science well. The very best people I worked with in the computer biz were, like me, self taught. They went to college for a fundamental education but taught themselves programming. This became possible after networks of microcomputers replaced macro and mini computersas the backbone of IT
