Former CIA chief in Benghazi challenges the story line of the new movie ‘13 Hours’

He is a veteran with a distinguished career in the CIA. Is he lying? The House Benghazi Committee has now been in operation longer than the 9/11 inquiry, the Watergate Committee or any other committee in congressional history. Even Republicans have concluded there was no stand down order. Can we move on?

I understand Hollywood will add their spice and flare to true stories, but in the interest of telling the true story I don't see why the survivors would tarnish their names and the names of their brothers who were killed just for a better story line.

Then why to the three guys who were on the ground say that three stand down orders were given to them. They have said it from the beginning, and have been interviewed by everyone and claimed the same story. There seems to be contradicting information if you ask me. Don't believe everything that is said, caused by a video or he served with honor and distinction.

Since the ambassador and his assistant were dead within 90 minutes of the attack, that just doesn't seem credible.

You seem to be very blithely saying that US government officials wanted Americans to die. That is just crazy.

Mark Geist, Kris Tanto, and John Tigen. Look them up on the interweb. Their account has never changed. I never said that our government wanted Americans to die, just some decisions have consequences and people die. The cover up is always worse than the truth.

I am not sure you can say Stevens was dead with in 90 min of the attack, The attack started at 21:40 hrs. Stevens was found by Libyans and showed up at the hospital at 1::15 hrs. Now the Libyans that found him are saying praise God he is alive.
