A former member of the Army National Guard living in Sterling, Va., is accused of trying to plan a domestic terrorist attack on behalf of the Islamic State.

Mohamad Bailor Jalloh was arrested Sunday and charged with attempting to provide material support to the terrorist organization, according to papers filed in federal court in the Eastern District of Virginia.

It kills me when a citizen or former military, or both, wants to take up arms against us. At the very least, I'm glad he was caught before he pulled another Fort Hood.

Mohamad Bailor Jalloh lived in my neighborhood of Sterling, Virginia and he was arrested here SGT (Join to see). I am glad he was caught. Around here we have MS13 and other violent gangs and it isn't overly surprising to me that an ISIS wannabe lived here in an area full of people from all over the world but mostly Latin America.

SGT (Join to see) - I didn't know he lived here among the 50,000 or so residents until after I heard the news. It is possible I have seen him but since I have not seen a picture of him I am not sure.

His sister apparently lives in Sterling, VA as well.

SSG (Join to see) - Yeah the FBI reports that his radicalization is what drove him to quit the Guard so this happened long after he was in the U.S. and the two successful attacks that were ISIL inspired were carried out by American born citizens.
