IMHO…The military needs to focus on making sure our soldiers are Bigger, Badder, Stronger, Faster, and Meaner than our enemy, not passing “milestones”. Everyone in the article is focused on being diverse, integrated, equal and talented. It’s not a F’ing talent show. The end of the article is a quote from retired Lt. Gen. Guy C. Swan III saying "You're well trained, well prepared and ready to do it". To do what exactly? Is it to shoot, communicate and kill or be equal, diverse and talented???
Look, men and women are not equal, I’m not saying one is better than the other, I’m saying we’re not equal… there are physical, biological, hormonal, and physiological talents that are very gender specific. Do these inequalities make us a more affective fighting force? Most men I know act, talk, interact, react, effect and affect, bond and most importantly communicate with other men differently than they do with women.….It’s like taking that woman, who wants to be “One of the guys”, on that guys fishing/hunting/camping/golfing/Bike/road trip, the dynamic changes completely and the other men are pissed that you brought her. And for you ladies, most men don’t want to go with you on your “ladies night out”. If it ain't broke, fix it, until it is!

I am happy to celebrate the accomplishments of those who challenge themselves, apply the effort and achieve good things; both for themselves and the country. Kudos to all the men and women who are willing to try and succeed.
