Fort Bliss is looking to help military and their families adjust to the Borderland, by helping them find jobs across El Paso.
Fort Bliss will be having a hiring fair on Thursday morning.
The hiring fair will have a wide range of employers to choose from, which include several hospitals, the FBI, the El Paso Police Department, school districts and many more.
Every single one of these employers attending will have vacancies and is looking to hire.
If you plan on attending, you will need to bring your military ID, along with plenty of copies of your resume.
Deana Garcia, the employment readiness manager for Fort Bliss said she wants to get as many people hired as possible.
“I want to get our military spouses employed, I want to show them that the El Paso community is passionate about supporting the spouses of military and our transitioning soldiers,” said Garcia.
The hiring fair is not only available to military and their spouses, but also to other family members, retirees and DOD civilians.
The Hiring Fair is at 9 a.m. Thursday at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center, 11199 Sergeants Major Blvd. on the post.
