Fear of retaliation is/can be deadly. Say something to the ‘right’ or appropriate people, utilizing the process. Document everything preferably with a witness. But sometimes, no matter what you do proactively, there are predators out there you just can’t guard against.
RIP Vanessa.

They said it wasn't "sexual" harassment - and there's no "evidence" of it. Of course not - she never reported to the SARC or her leadership. Someone reported something for there to be a record of some type of harassment - and someone said sexual things to her.

There's likely more players in this game that are yet to be found or announced. Let's be realistic about that.

SFC (Join to see) - local news said the harassment was unwanted sexual comments said in front of her but not directed at her. To me an unwanted sexual comment said in front of someone who doesn't want to hear them is a form of sexual harressment. Has that changed or did the news just get it wrong?

SGM Joel Cook - It can be yes. I don't think we're ever going to find out what really happened with her quite honestly. I really think more were involved than that Robinson douche.

SFC (Join to see) - I would agree because from reading the early reports the language led me to believe it was two different soldiers that were harassing her. It never said so specifically but the language led me to that conclusion.
