Fossil fuels make urban and suburban life possible. I don't want to live an urban or suburban life. And I don't want urbanites and suburbanite to live a rural life, they will just screw up the neighborhood. Drill baby drill.

The only reason I live in town, suburban, is because of my wife. If it was left up to me I'd be back in the hills of SE Ohio, where the closest neighbor was over a 1/4 mile away, and if you wanted to you could go out on the porch and take a leak w/o the cops being called on you.

SPC Gary C. - That's living! I came to town to keep my womenfolk happy. I have to admit it's nice being next to conveniences, but I can do without them.

SFC (Join to see) - Amen, if it was up to me and I was back home, I'd only go to town once a month. Resupply the food, HH6's meds, pick up things that we'd need. Otherwise we'd be in the woods on the home place.

Good article. One can never argue with the facts. Well OK, they can, but they will always look like fools.
