A south Vietnamese war vet friend of mine one year a long time ago gave me his Ithaca Model 17 for Christmas. He is one of our refugees that was cleared medically wise with his family when Vietnam fell. His wife hated that gun and told him to give it away. I'm the lucky recipient. During the war he was a sergeant in the south Vietnam army as tunnel rat helping us clear the tunnels out.
