That's funny... She made no such comparison, she simply stated how she looks forward to her new place of employment. She left with no bad blood, no drama, she just got a better deal she didn't want to pass up after 23 years with Fox. What I also find funny is how people constantly dismiss Fox as a straight line news source, claiming it's bias, while seemingly unable to note the biases of virtually every major news sources. They go on to point to talking heads such as Hannity and company, as those primary sources of straight line reporting. And whenever Herridge's articles are used as sources, they are tied to the likes of the talking heads and dismissed. So does that mean now that she's with CBS you can trust her or does the Fox News "stink" permanently stay with her as a biased reporter? I recognize Herridge as a complete professional and a respected journalist unlike many of the others in the MSM who's job is straight line reporting. Her reporting has been spot on for 23 years with fox and I would imagine this will continue with CBS. I only hope CBS will provide her with the flexibility and priority of her reports in their news cycles.

23 years is a long time to be at one network. I'm sure at this point in her career money matters and CBS made her a better offer. in 40 years in PA/PR i worked with many network reporters and producers. Honesty and unbiased reporting was a novelty not the rule when it came to the big guys. I never work with her and I can not speak first hand on her integrity, but it seems viewing her reporting she was fair and balanced.
