Yes, I'm really, really, really sure a billionaire who was always pampered from birth knows what my problems are. They probably have an off-shore account from they day they are born.

I will admit that this rant is NOT what the article is about. I did read the article, and I have no problem with the article or the individual within it.
But I have to address your comment on the article. Those who are labeled as privileged can absolutely discuss the problems of our time. But *only* if they endorse the concept of their own privilege and *only* if they spout the opinion of the "oppressed."
Every male who supports abortion is an ally with a valued voice. Every male who is against abortion had better shut up because they have no right to speak about women.
Every white person who supports BLM is an ally with a valued voice. Every white person who says something totally ridiculous like "All lives matter" or "Some BLM demonstrations have turned violent" or "BLM protests have included arson and looting" is a racist.
Every straight person who supports LGBT people is an ally with a valued voice. OK, most are - some aren't pro-LGBT ENOUGH. Every straight person who discusses the facts of biological anatomy or their personal distaste for viewing homosexual sex acts ("I don't like gay porn, but I am OK with watching straight porn") is automatically a homophobic trans phobic bigot.
This kind of forced perspective is, IMHO, unhealthy. I mean it is great for shaping narratives and forcing social change. But it is unhealthy.
