It is more than social media where disinformation occurs.
It is the mainstream media.
It is internet bloggers.
It is the political parties.
It is each campaign.
It is lobbyists.
It is special interest groups.
ALL of these entities mislead, cherry-pick facts, obfuscate other facts, present opinions as truth, pay "experts" to testify to the veracity of their assertions, bald-faced lie and make things up from the ether... all to further an agenda.
Identify the agenda, and you can put the information you see in context.
