The worst case was a mortuary that a fellow bought. The previous owner told him he was making X dollars. The previous owner had a locked room where he was storing stuff he would pick up later. The new owner wasn't making much and was becoming dis gruntled. Finally he opened the "storage room " and found an operating room. Turns out the old owner was harvesting bone and skin . The clients had no idea what had happened to their loved ones. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/07/09/nyregion/michael-mastromarino-dentist-guilty-in-organ-scheme-dies-at-49.html

And some people complain about government regulation. There is not enough regulation in that business in my opinion.

It would seem that way, but only regulated if warranted. It should be looked at certainly, but I don't go for knee-jerk regulations or regulations in general when they do more damage than good. This looks like an enforcement issue, because the regulations are in place, but not being upheld.

In a perfect world we wouldn't need any regulations. Once a year inspections don't seem to be doing any good as I hear these stories much too often. We had an incident here in Daytona not too long ago. The state had to get involved. From reading the article it is malpractice, desecration, and a health problem. They apparently need regulation since they don't regulate themselves.

SGT (Join to see) - What a wonderful World that would be. If we all followed the Golden Rule that pretty much covers it, unless somebody is into self-abuse.

This is truly disgusting and reprehensible. These people are in positions of trust that they will care for the bodies of deceased love ones.
