Driving way too fast

Indeed I do believe they bought their license. I grew up driving on dirt, gravel snow and Ice covered roads and we never drove like these.

Snow chains or snow tires and a safe speed does make a difference. If you have never driven in the snow stay off the roads. I have responded to too many accidents in an ambulance. Fortunately not all of them required medical treatment. But you always have that idiot who tries to pass an ambulance running hot with lights and sirens going. Highway's where you have multiple cars piled up can be a challenge. Being retired I can look back and ask "man how did some of them survive". Some of them didn't.
