I was trying to have 2 weapons with 1 type of round that fit with both weapons that were cheap and easiest to get more. I originally thought .357M was the way I wanted to go. A lever action Henry or Marlin rifle and a Coonan .357M handgun. The major problem I ran into was the Coonan was $2500.

Buddy just got something like it. He has a 9mm Glock so he got an AR platform in 9mm that accepts the same magazines.
