FYI: Blended Retirement System

Thanks TSgt Joe C. for sharing the Blended Retirement System video information posted at Af.mil. It is notable that there is one video for Active Duty and another for Reserve and National Guard.
It is ironic IMHO that somebody had titled the retirement system as a blended retirement system as it continues to be a stovepipe system where active and reserve components intersect at points but are separated by law and regulation.

This is the beginning of dismantling the retirement system. I an a FERs employee and out system is much different than the CSRS system. Anytime you put out so much info on how great it is....well you can only butter a turd so much. It is still a turd.
