Wait, so Wine lets you play Windows games on Linux? Do I have that right? If so, that seems...inelegant, to me. Why wouldn't you just get linux versions?

SN Greg Wright I would love to install the Linux version of games. Unfortunately, there is only a small fraction of games available that are made for Linux. For example, Deus Ex: Human Revolution is not available natively on Linux, but its sequel, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is. At the end of 2016, the amount of games on Steam that would play natively on Linux was around 1,600 out of 7,000 titles available.
