I know folks that really like the 17 HMR caliber. It’s an interesting combination the AR platform and the 17 HMR.

My favorite varmint gun is my Savage A-17SA .17HMR. To be able to use a more standard mag on an AR platform is making me drool.

Good varminter caliber. I use .22/250 with Hornady V-Max. Not as fast but close, and a little more splatter from ballistic tip.
