The Code of Conduct is a valuable lesson for dealing with many of life’s adversities.
During Operation Desert Storm, then-Capt. Russell Sanborn had just pounded Iraqi military targets with gravity bombs in the southern Kuwaiti desert. Then a missile struck his AV-8B Harrier, forcing him to parachute into the same area, where the angry enemy waited.

SGT Keith Bodine another great post! Thanks for sharing. If you've never been, try and include the National POW Musuem in Andersonville, GA in one of your trips. A heck of a lot of stories all the way back to the American Revolution!

Just be sure to see it in the cooler months! Summer time in South Georgia has plenty of gnatts to contend with! Also check out the National Cemetary while your there. There"s six buried in dishonor in perpetuity after conviction by their fellow POWs during the Civil War.
