I like his quote on common and differences, however, when you bring something like this to the table you also have to keep in mind the possible repercussions as well. We may have current peacekeeping ties with China, but they are not an ignorant people. They will also figure the commons and differences with Korea. And right now with the new order to bring manufacturing companies back to the US may very well devistate there economic growth.
Something that should also be looked at very closely is the last few years of mass Chinese illegal immigrants into our country. ISIS may very well be a current threat, or are they simply a public diversion from the real internal threat that may be coming? Or possibly already here. JMO on the matter.

You're welcome, and I totally agree. I had the pleasure of working directly for GEN Brown and he is one of the smartest GOs, and Soldier, that I have ever known, so I pay close attention to the things he says. And what you mentioned about ISIS...more than entirely possible.

LTC (Join to see) - thank you Sir, I really do hope that all areas are being watched and considered. My only current concerns are truly for the West coast. Honestly it puzzles me as to why Former Pres Oboma is vacationing in SoCalifornia, at the same time our Extremely liberal Gov Brown is making idle threats for what looks like possible civil war over our state! The almost 100,000 illegal Chinese immigrants coming in through the Mexican border in the last few years. And the song and dance of ISIS takeover in the US on public social media. And now the almost current concerns over Korea and even Russia.
Honestly, if I was going to take over one of the strongest countries in the world and all past attempts failed. I would just build a modern day Trojan Horse. While we're all looking outside, I have no doubt there working on the inside.
But it could just be another conspiracy theory on my part. No one really knows till it happens. Just seems like too many oppositions are starting to fall into place at the same time. And a Gen Smith once told me the way our country could ever be taken would be from the inside out! In a time that we wouldn't think to look in. And again, these are just my observations over the years.
