I have met her here in Florida and she signed her autobiography for me. She was a speaker at the National Council of Teachers of English convention when it was held in Orlando. She told that story, and I often tell my students the story when we study the Holocaust. She also told us of her deep respect and love for teachers, and she discussed important lessons and love she received from her teachers. She is an amazing person. She is 97.

She must be an extraordinary woman, SGT (Join to see), and meeting her in person must have been an extraordinary experience.
