Get free financial advice for joining Military Times special report

Ever wonder whether you’re doing the right things with your money? Are you saving enough? Will you be able buy that awesome (and awesomely expensive) car now, and live the good life long after you leave the military?

Military Times is preparing a special report in which we will connect active-duty members with professional financial planners for a free review of whether you’re on the right track, or if there are some areas you need to shore up to reach your financial goals.

This special project, now in its third iteration, has generated substantial savings for service members in the past. In one case, a sergeant learned he was double-paying on a home insurance policy. Dropping that unnecessary coverage saved his family $1,000 a year.





We’ll report on the results of these analyses at militarytimes.com and our newspapers (Army Times, Air Force Times, Navy Times and Marine Corps Times), so that others in the military community can also benefit from the advice.



Participants must be willing to have the details of their finances made public after the review, with their names and photos included.
