Getting Priorities Straight: House Democrats and the Public

The Democrats are not interested n what America wants, they are interested in power. Gun control will go no where. But “common sense gun control “ will be used to beat up on Trump and Republicans. Republicans and Trump will be portrayed in the press and by Democrats as radical out of touch gun nuts. Failure to act on these “common sense gun laws” will demonstrate that.

I love it when polls are used as a valid show of what Americans want. I think the far better example was the overwhelming results in the November elections. (I don't think guns were a major issue for anyone in that election)
