SGT (Join to see) HBO has a series called VICE News Tonight. It has no anchor, and the segue between stories is a simple animation. Earlier this week they had a story about how Japan is faced with cleaning up Fukishima because loosing the land is not a realistic option, when land is at a premium. They started the story by contrasting it with Chernobyl. They showed the building being moved into place. The thing that gets me is how resilient nature is. In Chernobyl, plants are growing in the buildings that surround the plant. Animals have returned to the area. It is an amazing structure.
ON a side note, seeing this kinda pisses me off. In the U.S. we continue to publicly fund new stadiums for pro sports teams that take in millions of dollars every year, and here is a project that actually has global value that is funded by donors.

wow... I thought this entire area was still restricted and contaminated to the point no one could go in there...
this is a good thing... and maybe they can soon to start the Clean up...
it was a beautiful City/area before the disaster...
