Gingrich is wrong. Any person who becomes a citizen should have to take an oath of loyalty to the USA. A person can believe anything they want, but until they act in a way that is against the laws of our country, then what the believe doesn't matter. The problem comes when there are so many people in a geographical area that they begin to change the laws to align with their beliefs and those laws go against our long established laws (as is now happening in London). How do we prevent that? One way is through the Supreme Court doing its job by comparing laws to the Constitution as originally written, which is why it's so darned important to have justices who base decisions on the original intent of the document, not on some stupid idea that the Constitution doesn't apply to today's issues because the writers couldn't have foreseen them. Also there could be a law passed declaring sharia law unconstitutional, therefore illegal, someone would know how to word that.

Gingrich is detrimental to the GOP and should have been marginalized years ago. It's beyond me why they keep allowing people like him, Christie, Romney, Palin and the like to keep popping up when they had a hand in getting the party so off course that they lost the '12 election so badly. Of the millions of people in the US, the fact that 13 people were given up for choices and they were all pitiful says the GOP doesn't have a clue about what conservatives in this country want from their government.

Terrible, all we have to do is wait for them radicals we have already permitted to enter the USA, or about to enter the USA with bad vetting, to attack. Then we pick up the pieces of the terrorist and the bodies of the citizens they slaughter, and we have the culprit. But at what cost? Who are you impressed with? Hillary and her ability to trade deals for her freedom.

The attacks we have endured since 9-11 have been done by long time residents and citizens (except the women). So how far back do you go and where does it stop? Say the sharia rule doesn't stop the attacks, then what, your heritage?
There is no simple answer to it.
Which POTUS will be better at solve it? It is a crap shoot, they all talk a good game until they are up against the clock. My confidence is not with either, but yes I have made a choice and only time will tell what become of it

Stopped most everyone of these where are these people from immigrants or citizens. Islam is not the only religion or group in the US trying to disrupt our way of life. It is 'impossible' to stop it all, but putting a crescent moon on every Muslim in the country will not work. That is essentially what Gingrich is proposing!!

And that is essentially BS. Trump specifically stated countries supporting ISIS or has many involved with terrorism. As far as Gingrich's statement, about 30% of our illegals are VISA overstays and we don't know where they are or their affiliations are. Kind of like some of those that carried out 9/11. Bad Newt, bad bad.
