There was at time Glenn Beck had a decent show and seemed stable. Those days are long gone. I listened to Beck in the local Tampa FL market a number of years ago before he hit the big time.

I believe he has some sort of mental illness. He is emotional, weepy. nonsensical, paranoid etc. He also seems to think he is the only guy that has the right answers and approach to any/all of he problems of the world.

He has created an almost "God Complex" about himself. It is an odd one though. He says he doesn't have all of the answers but then tells us all of them. I cannot even listen to him anymore.

SSG Michael Hartsfield - I listened to him before he went national. He was a different guy. Not sure what happened. Too much success, too much ego. Hard to say but he has changed a lot.

Maj John Bell I don't have too. Trump foments his own anti-Trump sentiment all by himself. He epitomizes the self licking ice cream cone

SSG Michael Hartsfield - What has he done or failed to do as President elect or as President that is contrary to his platform as a candidate? The anti-Trump sentiment is not new people rallying against him. It the same old people screaming the same old emotional arguments. They have become nothing more than white noise that the mind is learning to disregard. Screaming louder never improves the logic of an argument. It is not fair, but mind fatigue has turned the above into the face of the anti-Trump movement.

Maj John Bell You are right. He has done exactly what he said he was going to do when he was running and that's the problem. He isn't working with anyone, he definitely isn't listening to anyone, derides ANYONE that says anything negative about him, and feel that he is still entitled to a private life. Also, everything he accused HRC of doing and being HE'S DOING AND BEING! So while you may feel that it's the same old voices saying the same old thing, remember these are the faces of the anti-Trump movement, too

SSG Michael Hartsfield - When you say "He isn't working with anyone, he definitely isn't listening to anyone" I assume you mean his political opposition. If so, I agree, but that, unfortunately, has become the norm. President Trump is not the first, and probably won't be the last.

At some point during the Bush (43) administration, consensus building stopped. I have no great hopes that consensus building will come back into style anytime soon; absent some overwhelming outside threat, probably not in my life time. It is why we need to stop demonizing each other and accept that we each have real and sincere concerns.

Unfortunately, the last election cycle was devoid of any candidate capable of closing the divide. We are like alcoholics, we will either decide this is no way to live; or die from a car wreck or cirrhosis of the liver.
