The short answer is no, she will not be held to the same standard as the rest of us. Let's assume, for this scenario, the allegations against Clinton are at least mostly accurate.

Any of the rest of us would have already been stripped of our clearance and been moved into a position where did not need one, effectively ending our careers (in most cases). The only equivalent of that for her would be ineligibility for public office while the investigation plays out. Obviously, that will not happen.

The next is that any of us would face certain criminal charges. I am sorry, but that will not happen regardless of what evidence there is against her. Whether you like this President or not, he is a politician who has a critical political decision to make, not a criminal one. If it looks like an indictment is inevitable, he will pardon her, because the political consequences of not doing so greatly outweigh any hit his reputation would take in the short-term.

If she wins the election, even a presidential pardon could not spare her from impeachment. However, even if the Republicans maintain their majority in the House and are willing to do so, there is no way the Republicans will muster a 2/3rds conviction vote in the Senate. The Senate Democrats are not going to vote to convict, no matter what the evidence. Again, the political consequences outweigh any ethical narrative.

The only way she can be held even partially accountable is by the electorate not putting her in the nation's highest office next week. Anyone who expects personal consequences beyond that is going to be terribly disappointed. And that is just politics.
