I entirely expected it, for the simple reason, as I'd read in a novel once, as I'd said on here numerous times before, that human technology changes human morality...it was is inevitable, is inevitable, is going to be inevitable, that can't be changed...should a, woulda, could a, is completely irrelevant, it's going to happen, whether the human race wants it or not, for reasons that might not be wholly apparent for the moment, chief among which is tat if enough monkeys beat on enough computer keyboards long enough, biology is going to take over,, and generate AI, which is quite simply going to evolve, because that's what biology does, I don't care if it's protoplasm,, silicon, or some other material...the only thing to be considered, apart from obvious considerations of human stupidity or possible deliberate malice, and placing safeguards to avoid at all costs, is the inevitable likelihood that, sooner or later, there's gonna arise a sheer Frankenstein scenario, straight outta sci-fi, one that can't be anticipated, or precented, only dealt with whenever it'd happen, as it's bound to, once the AI involved reaches a necessary level of sophistication to make such Frankenstein scenarios a realistic possibility, not mere speculation...those are my thoughts, such as they are, if any of you have any, I'd obv be most eager to hear them, certainly, by all means, of course....
