Maybe a lesser punishment was in order for the code of conduct violation?

Sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut, dust off the resume, and move on

If it there been a limited release of the memo perhaps, but considering goggle/s peer review process considering promotions it would be an invitation to law suites to keep the idiot on board. He would have had an official voice in his co-workers promotions and reviews.

At the end of the day it's up to the employer to decide the punishment for violations of their code of conduct. If the employee knowingly violated the policy then the employee knew some sort of discipline was coming.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - He stated inconvenient facts. There quite simply and scientifically ARE biological differences between men and women, and all the politics, wishes, affirmative action, and rainbows and unicorns aren't ever going to change that. If a person is so sensitive that someone stating that finds that UNIVERSAL FACT offensive, then I'd submit that they're simply looking to be offended.

1stSgt Nelson Kerr - I'm not a software engineer, so I can't answer your question. Neither, however, are you. So neither can you. The guy who wrote that memo is, and while I'd want his answer to that question before deciding whether or not I agree with it, I'd say that he has a better grasp of it than either you or I. That said, so you'd support women in the NFL, then?

SN Greg Wright - I have worked areoundf wiuth and supervised programmers in mutiple places, The job is inteses but about as physcaly stressful as that of a finance clerk where the main physical threat is a over dose of Jolt Cola or energy drinks and a sore but from sitting to long. It is no more stressful than C A clerical Hob and far less so than being a clerk in a &-11

I guess Rear Admiral Grace Hopper who drove the navies move to computers and created COBOL, or Ada Love;lace who developed the basic concertizes of programing were biological unfit for the job?

What biological diffidence makes sitting behind a desk in a comfortable chair, writing code and thinking something women are less suitable for? the heaviest thing you have to lift is a a coffee cup and walking to the restroom is the most physically strenuous activity of the day.
