That is so true. When I was in Korea, some Koreans had a deep disdain for blacks, and children made up of a Korean mother and a black man. Like they had a choice in how they were going to come out as.

It is still horrible, but w when I met my wife there it was far worse and in the fifties mixed race (or white or Black parentage) kids were often simply killed at birth,

My youngest lives there and he occasional run sis into a bigots, but only slightly more often than he did in the states. He getss told he is not a real Korean, and he replies that few people born in Virginia are. But he has it far easier being half white than he would as half black,

Things are slowly changing but it was not called the Hermit Kingdom for no reason.

Her story is one that is not easy to listen to, but we should be more open minded. I know several youngsters that are from bi-racial families, and they are some of my grandsons closest friends. I think that he gets along with them better than kids of single race families. He's Salvadorian /American (my grandson).

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth How Right you are. I love all my Nephews but my Mixed Race adopted Nephew (Border Line Asperger's Syndrome, Like his Uncle) Has a special place in my Heart. When it comes to Computer technology he puts his Uncle and Older Brother to Shame, He's a Geek and a Damn Good Member of both the Thomas Aquinas Football and Wrestling Team.
