Yes, religion is very dangerous stuff that has long outlived its usefulness.
Any religion that divides people into "us" and "them" and has "holy scriptures" calling "them" "Abominations" and listing the penalty as "death" is not a "religion of peace".
Funny, all Abrahamic religion divides, describes people outside as abominations and has the penalty of death for non-conforming behavior.
