Wow I was saddened to read that previous "forever prisoner" Salman Rabeii was cleared for transfer from Guantanamo by a Dec. 1 review board decision. This decision means that a total of 21 "forever prisoner" Guantanamo detainees could leave the prison with security arrangements before President Barack Obama leaves office SP5 Mark Kuzinski.
I had hoped that "forever prisoner" Guantanamo detainees would be comparable to Forever US Postage Stamps in that the status would not change.
In May 2016, the Periodic Review Board rejected his release and declared him too dangerous to go from Guantanamo. I suspect the Obama administration is pushing for as many to be released as possible. [Salman Rabeii "traveled to Afghanistan in August 2001 where he received training from al-Qaida and possibly fought in Tora Bora before his capture," according to a July 28 intelligence profile.]
I recognize that the London-based legal defense firm Reprieve has a certain amount of faith in their Reprieve's Life after Guantanamo program, which helps captives return to free society; but, I would not bet my or my families life on the success of this program.
Now, 21 of Guantanamo's last captives are cleared for release -- and 28 are forever prisoners.
I hope that President Donald Trump's administration will include replacing many if not all of the members of the interagency Guantanamo-prisoner review-board.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski SOMETHING TERRIBLY WRONG with this picture. OBAMA just has to stick it to us one more time before he splits...trying to keep up his legacy....which seems to be MORE IMPORTANT to him than the well being of the United States.

Capt Jeff S.
Well if he can't be known as the best, he wants to ensure his legacy of being the best at being the worst... and the guy who got away with pulling off the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on America.
Here's to hoping that History exposes his corruption and remembers him as the first President ever to be investigated for treason and convicted for his subversive, criminal activity.

SP5 Mark Kuzinski - One would think he might learn from GW's example and not criticize his successor, but noooooo! @@
