Gunman threat at Istanbul hospital - BBC News

An armed man has locked himself into a room at a psychiatric hospital in Istanbul, Turkish media report.
Officers are said to be negotiating with the man who has threatened to kill himself and others, they said.
Patients and staff have been evacuated from Cerahpasa hospital.
The incident comes amid tension in Istanbul following several attacks in crowded areas, including the deadly assault on the Reina nightclub on New Year's Eve which left 39 people dead.
