PO1 Tony Holland I Remember an "Experimental" House set up in the United Kingdom if I'm Not Mistaken that was all "Open" that Allowed anyone to Access Cameras, Turn On Fans and Lights. I used to have a Blast Logging into the Spy Cameras in the House and Just being in Amazement that I could do so much remotely. With Our New Interconnected World if You Don't have some Excellent Cybersecurity You are Open to All Kinds of Things.

CSM Charles Hayden - OMG Yes, I Learned in A-School on Ancient Almost WWII Equipment but reported to My First Duty CINCPACFLT Staff and was working with the PDP-11/70 Top of the Line 4 Million Dollar Computer. By the Time I Retired I Held NECs in Telecommuncations Management (Automated Data Processing) and Tactical Intelligence Networks UYK-20. I had worked on the Milnet/Arpanet Project Grandfather to the Internet that We are Using right Now. The Intelligence TICCs that We Passed were the Predecessor to the Tweets on Twitter. Everything You See on the Internet and Social Media I was Doing a Long Time Ago it just had a Bit of Classification and was "Classified" at the time.

CSM Charles Hayden I've Taken Courses in Traffic Analysis (Without Even Decrypting the Message Traffic, Amazing what You Can Learn about the Parties in a Netowrk) I've taken Course in Screwing with an Enemy by Inserting Bogus Traffic into a Network. Kind of a bit of Foretelling the Future, as a Kid Screwing Around with some Basic Radio Equip I broke into the Police Tactical Voice Network. Before there were "Hackers" there were Folks Like Me. Black Box Men, Capt'n Crunchers.

PO1 William "Chip" Nagel WW II Equipment?
While in the 74th Armored Signal Co at Ft Knox in 1953, I was curious enough to open a box of ? stuff I found while cleaning the supply room.
There was a set of WW II, Wire Photo machines. (as in old newspaper’s pictures with a caption, “AP Wire Photo”.)
Having time to spend, as an E-3,
I was able to properly wire the machines and transmit between the two machines.
My orders for Korea came down soon afterwards!
