I'll jump out of any aircraft, SGT John " Mac " McConnell, but I'll be damned if I'd get into that thing!

I agree I wouldn't get into that thing either but I have no intention of ever jumping out of an aircraft. I want to leave an aircraft the same way I boarded, by the stairs or ladder.

Jeep Steering wheels didn't originally have a knobby design but after prying the Roto-Jeep Driver out of his seat they noticed he had squeezed knobs into the plastic from holding on until his Jeep touched down. Seeing that you had a better purchase on the steering wheel they adopted this design and all MB's had the knobby steering wheel.........just kidding! With a landing speed of approx. 70 mph there isn't anyone that wants to drive that fast in an MB believe me!

This is an interesting idea, however having worked with the British on engineering projects I have observed that while they have great initial ideas, they are not very good at improvements; IE engineering problems out of a system. They seemingly prefer to design something around the problem which only complicates the project. Such a mindset would make me very dubious about taking one of these more than a few feet off the ground.
Good one John, keep 'em coming!
