I really appreciate this post. I know that it isn't what everyone is looking for in an article like that, but sometimes short articles like this are just what we need to start thinking about other situations we could be exposed to or even experience ourselves. I've actually never thought about how I might respond to the 'cheerleader' situation, so I'm glad that they gave a really good example for it!

Remedy: Sometimes interviewers simply don't know how to interview. They make a judgment, good or bad, based on first impressions. Many people who have not been screened properly have been hired and then failed at the job. Sometimes there are other factors, such as the job was already promised to someone else. Whatever the reason, you did not fail, because you weren't even given a chance. ..."...
