I guess I’ll never understand how a nation with a $17T GDP and a Federal budget of $4.4T is not the clear leader in military technologies. There used to be a phrase thar wars are not caused by a balance of power, but an imbalance in power. If our enemies feel they can defeat us, they will try.

LCDR (Join to see) With China working on and already Testing a Hyper Sonic vehicle, and Russia has already joined the Hyper Sonic club and plans to test fire one very soon, we can assume this technology did not get developed over night. But with Congress passing CR after CR, we have done nothing in the Hyper Sonic venue. That coupled with the decimation of out military by the last administration, we are a little behind the eight ball right now. We can not....we must not just develop our own Offensive Hyper sonic vehicle, but we need to push for a defensive system as well We will most likely need to defend against these one or more of these monster weapons sooner than later. We not only need to develop our own Hyper birds, but figure out how to take down China's & Russia's hyper sonic weapons as well.
