Meh curing cancer is moot, now. They're on the verge of being able to precisely deliver lethal payloads to cancerous cells via nanotech. Cancer will be a thing of the past within our lifetimes.

Sgt Wayne Wood - Honestly, I firmly believe that my grandchildren's generation will be nigh on immortal. They'll still die, but it'll be accidents or murder that do it, not illness and old age. Which, if this comes true, is going to cause a fuckton of problems that no one's going to address beforehand.

While the trial results sound promising, I will wait for this to enter the mainstream medical community before I become too optimistic.

Yup... nice to know it’s out there... clinical trials have to be done on volunteers, ya can’t volunteer for something ya don’t know about.
