Honduras 2001, first time dealing with SF. Awesome Soldiers that went out of their way to make you feel as one of them, even though you clearly weren't. It was their idea for this training due to terrain, and sounded fun in theory and classroom instruction. 10ft at 10 knots. I only knew what 10ft was....the hell was 10 knots? I know that it was not 10ft, I know that the L does work, and I KNOW the Chief driving the bird was having too damn much fun...we were never at 10 anything after the first drop. By the third, it was oh shit at oh shit, but we kept going it was so much fun. Water and cement at speed are the same thing!!!

You know, you hit on the head when you work with SF and SOF in general they treat you as one of them and go out of their way to help you out. I was a two Task Forces working directly with them and was treated just like one of them. They are humble and extremely professional , I think that is what makes them who they are.

I would say because you were doing a high risk training, and that is when you are hyper aware of your sourounding.
