Our early political strategy early on the pandemic did the country a huge disservice as it did not give impetus ramping up for the pandemic. The National Response Framework (the plan that should be used for national disasters) clearly states the country should make an early and valid risk assessment and to order supplies early for the hospitals. Neither were accomplished.
