Actually Col Flemming, that really isn't surprising. A large number of these folks spend all their income on their homes, vehicles, etc. They have nothing in reserve, nothing in investments. This is a situation that is explained well in an older, but still relevant book "The Millionaire Next Door". A book that was required reading for both my boys.
