SGT (Join to see) "I own several guns that I could have used. Everyone that owns a home should own a gun. However, discretion is the difference between a responsible gun owner and a criminal. To kill someone you should have moral AND legal standing. Waiting for someone to set foot inside your house to murder them is not OK in my opinion. I took some risk, to save this idiot's life rather than take it" --The guy in the vid, from the youtube post.

'nuff said. You'd be hard pressed to find a finer example of an American.

SN Greg Wright, The guy in the video did the right thing. Chances are he had been deployed and saw enough death so as to not kill that guy. Obviously the perp didn't have a weapon, so the owner did do the right thing. Most people around here (Houston), shoot first and worry about it later. I would call the cops before the burglar got into my house, but if he got in before they showed up, I would have to air him out.

LOL, MSG (Join to see). When I finished jump school, our base commander told us we were the meanest, toughest, SOB's in the Army, and to be proud of that fact. I don't know about me being the meanest and toughest SOB, but I am proud of my accomplishments, and being Airborne.
