Here's Why You Shouldn’t Join The Military

When I saw the title of this article, I immediately became defensive. Then, I read the article.
This article is a bit tongue in cheek. It begins with all of the negative reasons a person should not join the Military. Then, it more or less, explains some personal experiences you will have, if you do join the Military. It's written by an ex Marine fixed wing and rotary wing pilot.

I thank I fall in the crazy category As reward for good work I was given the chance to fly aboard the USS Coral Sea in the back seat of a F4. Of course I jumped at the chance. If you had seen as many air craft crash and burn on the flight deck of a aircraft carrier as I have you would put me in the crazy category for doing so. I loved every minute of it. I loved my post military job, but being a chief petty on the flight deck of a aircraft carrier is by far the best job in the world.
