You'd be amazed about how May times I get questions from Army officers as to why "personnel" is "Amber" or "Red" on the weather effects block on the long range forecast.

The long range is a crap shoot and especially with weather.

Regardless...use this example for today...mid July in central TX or the numerous times to Iraq in the summer. Temperature at that point doesn't even have to be that accurate without the "personnel" block to have effects to operations and mission planning.
