Very unfortunate if indeed she has Parkinson's - Not only does it affect ones mobility, mental impairment is often attributed with this illness. Ironically patients with Parkinson’s are remarkably industrious, inflexible, and honest. Parkinson’s patients have measurably lower metabolism in certain areas of the prefrontal cortex, the region of the brain associated with deception.

Possible explanation. I watched my father pass from Parkinson's, and it was not pleasant. Pharmaceuticals may forestall the advancement, but it will progress. I can see the comparisons being made to FDR with polio, or JFK and his back, but Parkinson's is a whole different animal.

FDR functioned quite well from his wheelchair as JFK did from his rocking chair. I don't think Hillary could function well even if she were well, but with this disease, it would be like having no President at all (or worse, a shadow President acting on her behalf)
