I know many who served and a number who were killed COL Mikel J. Burroughs. Thanks for sharing the link to Hire Heroes!
Hopefully many veterans will be hired through this and many other services.

I know a lot of heroes but one stands out my father Harold Norton a WWII and Korean war veteran was a hero he died when I was 2 I never knew the man the hero I think of the most is Alvin E Cole he never served because he contracted polio as a young boy that left him with one leg much shorter than the other but he was my step dad and taught me about patriotism at a young age he was always sad that he could not serve his country it was a different time he died when I was 12 he wanted nothing but the best for me he was a hero not for his service to his country he was a hero for raising 3 step sons that listened to his patriotic lessons and all 3 of us served in the United States Army Honorably he instilled his love of his country into the next generation through my brothers and myself and for that and his love and guidance he will always be my number one hero
